20 software developers and experts joined on October 17th, the first Agile Software Timisoara Meetup hosted by Timişoara Software Business Incubator's Training Room.
Present and graduated companies (HPC Consulting, Sevenbit Solutions, Atysoft), representatives of Timisoara subsidiaries of multinationals companies (Alcatel and Continental), local software development companies (Realmedia and Rapidsolutions), freelancers and Computer Science students, were brought together in a promissing event for constituting a viable Agile Timişoara Community. They discussed the benefits and costs of implementing Agile programming initiatives in their companies, the necessity to have a Agile approach in all the company's activities.
The event was extremely well perceived by the participants. A monthly frequency was proposed and accepted by most of the participants. Lucian Daniliuc took over the responsibility of Assistant Organizer, joining Maria Diaconu, organizer of the Timisoara Agile Meetup Group and Radu Ticiu, the other Assistant Organizer.
