Timişoara Software Business Incubator's manager visited H-Farm Ventures, a modern and non-typical business incubator located in the rural area in the Treviso Region in Northern Italy.
H-Farm Ventures is a business support infrastructure created as the first private business incubator in Italy, by Maurizio Rossi and Riccardo Donadon, both successful serial entrepreneurs in IT&C şi new-media, since '90. They both recorded extremely successful exits.
During the visit, the discussions approached the two incubators' business models, the evolutions in the entrepreneurial ecosystems in the geographical areas where the two incubators are functioning, areas that are two-fold twinned (the cities of Timişoara and Treviso, respecively Timiş County and Veneto Region), and the co-operation opportunities between the two incubators.
Following the visit, a decision was made to define a list of activities that could lead to establishment of relationships between the entrepreneurs in the two incubated companies. This list could include study visits, internships, joint training events, student exchanges, identifying public sector supported projects aiming to support the establishment and development of bilateral economic relationships.
