Friday, 15.01.2010, from 13.00 to 14.30, Timişoara Software Business Incubator, organizes a technical seminar on Software Change Request Submissions in the context of Software Maintenance.
The goal of this seminar, conducted in English language by Mr. Zeljko Stojanov (MSc and PhD candidate in Computer Science at the Technical Faculty "Mihajlo Pupin" in Zrenjanin, Serbia) is to present and experimentally evaluate a new approach in software maintenance related to software change management.
Targeting both software development experts and users of software applications, the seminar will include the following topics:
- short presentation of some software maintenance concepts related to change management
- presentation of a new approach in submitting change request for software
- experiment execution: submitting software application change request using three different approaches:
- paper form
- Web form
- the new approach based on a specific tool integrated into the software application
- discussions and evaluation on pro's and con's of usage of the three different methods
In order to practically participate in the experiment, invitees are asked to bring in their own laptops.
