Timisoara Software Business Incubator was represented by Radu Ticiu, executive director, to Zagreb 2010 Mini Camp.
Radu was invited as mentor to attend the one-day event that brought together 20 teams from Austria, Bosnia&Hertegovina, Croatia, France, Serbia, Slovenia and Romania, and around 50 mentors (representing business support organizations, experienced entrepreneurs and early stage investment entities).
The event was an intense succession of pitching and mentoring moments, offering a good opportunity to the start-up representatives to present their projects, receive advice and ask for opinions on issues related to their business concepts.Participation to the Mini Seedcamp in Zagreb offered a great opportunity to promote Timişoara Software Business Incubator and West Romania as a dynamic place where any organization active in IT&C sector could successfully find a competent partner. Interesting openings could be expected following the discussions with representatives of UK Trade and Investment, RSG Capital, PBZ Invest or BarnesMartin.
Given the excellent positioning of Timişoara in the geographical context of the Balkans and more generally Central and Eastern Europe, an initial offer was made to Seedcamp executives to consider Timişoara as the location for one of the next years' edition the Mini Seedcamps.
It is worth mentioning that out of the five Romanian participating projects, one is from Timişoara: Cirip.ro of Timsoft.
