A number of 24 students from Timişoara Universities, covering various fields of study, both technological and economic, connected by their interest to learn about and practice IT start-up creation will be selected to participate to the second, Spring 2010 edition of Timişoara IT Startup Generator.
The project, to be launched April 15th, will consist of a number of 8 4-hour training modules, delivered in a mixed, theoretical and practical, approach with the involvement of experts and practitioners from local and Bucharest IT companies and the Timişoara Software Business Incubator including Maria Diaconu (lMozaicWorks), Ciprian Man (EBIG), Florin Dumitrescu (Dumitrescu & Asociaţii), or Călin Iepure (Space Rabbit).
During the project, the participating students will be encouraged and assisted towards development of innovative and sustainable business ideas and business plans, in a competitive approach, having as competitors 4 to 6 mixed teams, including IT and non-IT students.
It is worth to mention that as part of the Timişoara IT Startup Generator project, the participants will be trained in fields of personal development towards an entrepreneurial career during a full-day program.

Participating teams will have access during the project duration to the Incubator's resources (consultancy, training room, printing and copying machines, etc.) including, upon appointment, during Saturdays and in special circumstances, during Sundays.
The project follow-up will include assistance for business planning detailing/finalizing, business incorporation and registration, and Incubator admission for the interested participating teams.
