In it's position of strategic partner of the How To Web 2010 Conference (Bucharest, Romania, November 3rd-4th), Timişoara Software Business Incubator warmly invites young entrepreneurs from around the world to atteed the event's Startup Challenge.
Any web startup that is less than 2 years old, targets a global or international market and haven't raised any VC funding until applying, can enter the competition and prove itself and conference participants that its idea is the one that will rock the web in 2011.
In order to enter the Startup Challenge, interested entrepreneurs have to fill in and submitt an entry form (until October 10th) and send organizers an up to 5 minutes video elevator pitch detailing the envisaged market characteristics and size, customer needs addressed, technology solutions, competitive strategies, team, business model, considerations on overall feasibility and impact.
A professional jury including early stage business support professionals, successful entrepreneurs and early stage investors will select a number of 6 finalists of the Startup Challenge that will be invited to attend and pitch at the Bucharest event.
They will benefit of a free conference ticket and a 50% discount for the second ticket (125 EUR, VAT included), a 5 minutes time slot for presenting their new product or service to the 500 Internet professionals attending the conference from the main stage, a dedicated exhibition space in the Startup Challenge Area and individual feedback and mentoring interaction with the members of the jury.
At the end of the two conference days, three of the six Startup Challenge finalists will be awarded, based on the jury's and participants' evaluations. The winners will benefit of extended exposure via How to Web's own and partners' social media channels and will also get a great pack of rewards.
