Timisoara Software Business Incubator is inviting those interested to join, Monday, January 10th, starting at 7 PM, at the Timisoara City Business Center 700 Coffee & Lounge the inaugural event of what we'd like to become a thriving and long-lasting community centered by mobile application developers but also opened to other specialists.
The evening will start with a keynote speech by dr. Valentin Muresan, director of Movidius Development Center in Timisoara on current trends in mobile hardware evolution that will influence soon the playground of mobile software developers. We'll hear from Valentin a lot about 3D HD video on mobile devices and Movidius' leading edge technology to be commercially launched surprisingly soon.
The second speech of the evening will also be a technical one, but in the same time an interrogative one: Andrei Rusan, PhD student and Video Quality / Network Expert at Alcatel-Lucent will invite the participants to jointly find an answer to the question: "Will LTE bring a significant change in the mobile apps development?". Andrei is looking forward to hear participants' opinions on the chances new technologies have to surpass the existing ones, currently used by developers and endorsed by the providers.
This initial meetup will test the interest within the community, discuss the principles we would like to govern group's functioning, extract the themes of most interest for the next group's events.
We are suggesting to all those Timisoara IT&C practitioners and mobile field interested people to consider becoming members of this group as we'll try to use it in order:
- to facilitate the contacts between groups and individuals now unknown to each other but all working in this cutting edge field,
- to showcase the most interesting local projects,
- to establish and support regular learning and networking events,
- to consolidate the local community
- connect it to other similar groups in the region and world-wide
- to challenge serendipity and to support innovation-driven local entrepreneurship initiative
We are also looking forward to see you taking a proactive position in this initiative by promoting it to your peers, sharing own experience, stating your expectancies and needs that can be supported by the group.
