Timisoara Software Business Incubator/Timisoara Mobile Development Group organizes a training session conceived as an introduction in the field of Android applications development, approaching the specific techniques and development environment. It is addressed to specialists with proved programming knowledge that are interested in implementing Android apps and were not previously exposed to any formal and structured education providing them exposure to the essential set of implementing instruments and tools. Training goals
At the end of this training session, the participants will master a series of instruments and techniques that will permit them to develop application for the Android platform, using Java as a programming language. They will develop and practice abilities in successfully unroll Java for Android projects, starting from basic development to Android Market publishing knowledge.
Training themes
During the two days training, the following themes will be approached: Android system architecture, development environment installation and setting-up, emulated or on-phone testing, UI controls, Services and Broadcast Receiver, working with SQLite data bases in Android, location-based notifications.
Trainer
The training will be developed and delivered by Marius Mailat. A Romanian programmer, educated in Cluj-Napoca, Marius lives since 2000 in Germany, where he is a successful ISV and frequently offers Java and Android consultancy services to major clients.
Marius created and moderates androider.ro, the most numerous and active Romanian Android community.
Participation fee
The regular participation fee is 380 EUR.
Discounted rates (starting at 270 EUR) are available and are addressing early-bird purchase, acquisition of tickets by multiple participants from the same company, by incubated companies or by members of Timisoara Mobile Development Group (membership prior April 15th). A higher than regular fee will be applied to late registrations.
