Timişoara Software Business Incubator, together with „Grigore Moisil” High-School, organizes during June 23rd-July 6th the second edition of Tim Teen IT Summer School, dedicated to Timiş County high-school students interested in the IT field and that reached good performances in specialized competitions.
Tim Teen IT Summer School project aims to create skills and to transfer knowledge that are complementary to those included in the school curricula.
During the week, the participants will be offered opportunities:
to accumulate knowledge and information from the IT application development and entrepreneurship field
to communicate better and more effective
to present and to discuss their current own projects with their colleagues, teachers, young specialists and entrepreneurs
to meet and to discuss with Romanian and foreign IT experts and entrepreneurs
to group with their co-participants and toget involved in the development of IT mini-projects
to receive valuable information and insights for career planning.
The summer school will program discussions and presentations, theoretical and practical daily sessions spanning the 9AM-5PM interval
During the last day of the project Wednesday July 6th, the participating teams will present their mini-projects in a competitive framework.
The project is opened to high-school students enrolled in 9th, 10th or 11th grade during the 2010-2011 school year.
For registration, the interested students are invited to fill in this form.
The deadline for registration is Tuesday, June 21st, 2.00 PM. The selected participants will be notified by e-mail, Tuesday, June 21st, 8.00 PM, the latest.
