Dan is co-organizing once in each two years European Augmented Reality Business Conference in Berlin and for this September Eastern European Mobile Monday Developer Summit, in Bucharest.
In order to encourage participants to Tim Teen IT Summer School to think about the importance of mobile apps, we decided together with Dan to invite them to enroll in an individual competition, different of the two Mosquito Prizes competitions opened to teams of participants. The Augmented Citizen Prize will consist in a HTC Touch phone that will be offered by Dan, and named after his blog.
The rules are pretty simple: each interested participant, registered here to attend the summer school, should write an essay of up to 2000 characters (blanks included) to describe what mobile apps they would like to have on their mobile phone, describing the needs that set of apps will meet and motivating their choice. Of course, both existing and desired apps could be listed.
The essays should be written in English and sent via e-mail to dan@openproduction.org (with radu.ticiu@it-incubator.ro in cc) no latter then Thursday, June 23rd, 5PM. The winner of the Augmented Citizen Prize will be announced during Dan's presentation, Friday, June 24th, starting at 2PM, and will be handed to the winner July 6th, at the festive closing of the Tim Teen IT Summer School.
