Cluster-oriented Workshop

DEAK Plc. and ARIES-TM kindly invites you to a Cluster-oriented workshop, organised as part of the
Cluster Development for Successful IT&C Sectors project (HURO/0901/124/2.1.2) in Szeged.
The primary goal of the workshop is to transfer comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge,
which is essential in establishing cluster cooperations and in increasing competitiveness within the
sector.
Introduction of already existing clusters
Which enterprises and organisations formed clusters
What were the incentives to form clusters
Projects implemented in cooperation
Organisational structure of clusters
How are clusters managed in practice
How is cluster management financed
Generating projects
How can members initiate new projects
How does the management facilitate cooperations
What kind of tools are necessary for initiating a business relation
Besides numerous practical approaches participants will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves
with the endeavours and cooperation attempts of Hungarian and Romanian development policy aiming
at cooperation between enterprises, plus will get an overview of those European Union directives that
foster cooperation realised in the form of clusters.
The workshop’s target group is the starting and developing cluster organisation in Romania and
Hungary, economic chambers and the experts at the universities of the two regions. We also welcome
to the workshop the representatives of organisations that are members of already existing clusters are
just considering to become cluster members – on both domestic and international level.
The workshop will be held on June, 15th 2011, Wednesday, 10.00 – 15.30 at the University of Szeged József Attila Academic and Information Centre (TIK) (6722 Szeged, Ady tér 10.).
Participation in the workshop is free of charge but preliminary registration is necessary. Registry
