ARIES-TM Romanian Association for Electronic and Software Industry - Timisoara Branch and Timisoara Software Business Incubator, with the support of Romanian Ministry or Economy, Commerce and Business Environment (MECMA) are organizing a four day mission of Timisoara IT&C startups to Cambridge and London.
Why?
During the visit, a full and intensive four days business development-oriented program will be followed offering the participants opportunities to:
- visit well known and emerging startup support organizations
- understand the local entrepreneurial/startup scenes in both Cambridge and London
- meet local tech entrepreneurs, incubation professionals, inward investment experts, early stage and VC investors, potential development partners, sales partners, other regional companies in both formal and informal settings
- attend technical and business networking events
- meet and learn from the experiences of successful Romanian hi-tech entrepreneurs active in UK
- evaluate pros and cons for expanding businesses to UK
Who?
Timisoara (and other Romanian cities)-based tech entrepreneurs active in web, software, media, telecom, mobile field with promising emerging business.
When?
November 22nd-26th 2011
At what cost?
1020 EUR - early bird (610 EUR participant's contribution + 410 EUR RO MECMA subsidy)
1150 EUR - regular (740 EUR participant's contribution + 410 EUR RO MECMA subsidy)
The participation fee will cover: flights, local transportation, accommodation (3 or 4 stars hotels, twin rooms), meals, inclusion in promotional printed materials, organization of a dense program of meetings, visits, match-making events, participation to local networking events.
